What does Meta’s Muse know about you?
Muse, Meta’s AI agent app, keeps your conversations and the things it pulled in or made while working for you, such as emails and files. Its export saves straight to your phone from Settings → Data controls. Drop the zip into Privapanda to read it on your own device.
What’s in your Muse export
- Every turn of your conversations.
- The files in its workspace.
- What it pulled in or made for you, such as emails and files, with their titles and links.
- Transcripts and images.
What Privapanda shows you
- The themes, projects and worries that run through your conversations, and when you use it.
- How many items Muse collected for you, by kind.
The titles and links of what Muse collected, which can be email subjects or file names, are never kept: only counts. Transcripts and images are skipped. Your files are read in your browser and never uploaded.
How to download your Muse data
- In the Muse app, open Settings → Data controls.
- Export your data. The zip saves to your phone.
- AirDrop or copy it to this device, then drop it into Privapanda.
Instant. It saves straight to your phone. The easiest export of the lot.
How to turn it off
Clear out what Muse collected for you
- Delete the conversations and files you don’t need from Muse.
Keep the sensitive stuff out of chatbots
- Don’t paste ID numbers, health records, bank details or passwords. If you need help with a document, remove names and numbers first.
Menus move around: if a step doesn’t match, search the app’s settings for the words in quotes.
See it for yourself
Free, no account, and your files never leave your browser.
